I am a information Officer of a local Government in Ondo State, and CEO of Female Development Support Foundation an NGO. Working hard on fighting the war against discrimination and violence towards women and girls, I view of this, the Foundation seek your support and financial assistance in publishing a book, title Secret Laughter of Women, The book secret laughter of women is an attempt to shed light on discrimination against women and violence that affects women in general. Violence ranging from domestic violence, ethnic and religious violence, Genital mutilation e.t.c.Violence against women affects every part of their lives. The well-being of women, their full participation in countrys plans, policies and programs are essential if development is to take place. Women are socially, psychologically, and physically disable as a result of violence perpetrated against them by their counterpart, thus cannot be vibrant instrument for the development of their societies, it logically follows therefore that a nation that seeks to experience rapid and sustainable development must be prepared to fight violence against women. Women are not guest on the earth, but the future of the planet belongs to them. At the heart of this book, is how women gets their power, though there are called and regarded the weaker sex, yet women are the most powerful of human creature.
Please how can the organization benefit from the grant. This year. The book is about 97 pages and 9 Chapters.
